The Surplus Property Management Office oversees the transfer and sale of property surplus to state agencies. This provides a low-cost alternative for purchasing that enables agencies to save money and, as a result, make a greater investment in achieving their mission.
We also provide these same benefits to state boards and commissions; and public colleges and universities; and certain nonprofits eligible for the Federal Donation Program.
Documentation establishing the requesting entity must be included – such as approved legislation, public decree, or public minutes – and some service charges may apply.
