Federal Donation Program

The Surplus Property Management Office oversees the distribution of federal surplus property that is available at a fraction of its original cost through a service charge.The property is received from the U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) and other federal entities for redistribution to state and federal governments and eligible nonprofit organizations.

Property allocated to the Commonwealth can be transferred directly from a federal site to your agency or is transported to one of our distribution warehouses, where it is inventoried, displayed, and made available for purchase.

Eligible donees can screen available inventory directly through visiting the website:  GSAXcess.  Please contact   Virginia State Surplus to obtain the access code and password.  Enter the following information into your internet explorer's address bar to access the site and view property that GSA is offering: http://gsaxcess.gov then click login.
